Lower Cross Syndrome

Lower Cross Syndrome is is a neuromuscular condition in which there are tight and weak muscles. It is a dysfunctional condition that involves the tight muscles of the thoracolumbar extensors, namely; the erector spinae/paraspinal musculature and the iliopsoas muscles (i.e. hip flexors). The weak muscles involved are the abdominals and gluteus medius.
